Enquiries through our website

When you send us an enquiry using the form on our homepage or Contact page, we collect your name and email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. On the Contact page we also collect the project type and how you heard about us, if you choose them, and the names of any files you select. The files themselves aren't uploaded; we'll ask you for them when we reply.

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to discuss your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps you've asked for before entering into a contract.

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you send the form, your details are emailed to us using Resend, an email delivery service, which processes them only to deliver that email. Resend is based in the United States. Transfers are protected by the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which form part of Resend's data processing agreement. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else.

To protect the form from abuse, our server briefly records your IP address to limit how many enquiries can be sent in a short time. This record is deleted automatically within two minutes.

If no project goes ahead, we keep your enquiry for 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we need them for your project and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing enquiries@archetype-studio.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
